A unique program of the Seniors Resource Center is partnering with Zambia Hope International (ZambiaHope.org). The Zambia Hope staff is preparing profiles of children under its care. These are in a folder kept at the center, and are presented online as well.

The Zambia Hope project itself is an innovative approach that stresses the need for Zambians to take responsibility for solving their own problems. The organization does not seek to gather orphans into homes, but rather to support the children where they are, usually in extended families, and provide them with food and education through several schools that are supported by Hope Farm.

You can support the Zambia Hope program through caring for a child of your own (through sending letters and cards, and non-financial presents) and donating to the program's operating costs.
