Seniors can come anytime and use our library and our computers, which are set up with tutorials for self-instruction.



Participants will receive individualized instruction and have a computer for his/her use. Class size is limited, so call 301-624-5714 ahead to reserve your place. First come, first served. All classes are free.


TUESDAYS
Morning Class
10:00 AM to 12:00 AM – Introduction to Computers

Introduction to the components of computers and how they work together. The class provides an opportunity to become familiar with basic computer functions and the Microsoft operating system. The instructor is Sheila Stewart.

Afternoon Class
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Come ask questions related to computer problems, receive one-on-one instruction, work on resumes, use tutorials, etc.

THURSDAYS
Morning Class
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM –Introduction to the Internet & Sending E-Mail *

This class will help participant learn to use the Internet, search tools and emails, and how to send and receive documents and images. Seniors will receive individual attention from the instructor and each class participant will have a computer for his/her use. The instructor is Sheila Stewart.

* We can substitute Word, Excel, & QuickBooks for Intro to Internet upon request.
